Dark Tales is interactive horror noir fiction for entertainment (Play listing 13+). The Last Word is an entertainment game. Narration can be expanded with cloud AI for play; it is not real testimony or advice.
What does Dark Tales feel like?
It feels like a short horror tale: you are in the scene, not behind a desk grilling suspects.
Interactive horror noir for a focused session - not an all-evening campaign.
How does a session play?
Scenes arrive one after another. At the end of a beat you pick one action. The ending remembers the path you walked.
Before you play
Treat it as a short single-player horror session with mature tone - and know what to expect before you tap Play.
- Single player only. Dark Tales lives on the single-player path. Local party does not offer this mode.
- Mature / horror tone. Expect psychological dread and dark fiction. Play listing is 13+. There is no separate in-app content-warning screen before you start; this page is the honest heads-up.
- Short sessions. Tales are built for a focused session. Exact length varies by tale and by how you choose.
What is Dark Tales not?
It is not suspect interrogation and not yes/no word guessing - it is a narrator-led horror tale with irreversible picks.
Story Detective puts you in chat with suspects. You ask questions; the case is fixed; AI writes replies for play. Dark Tales does not give you that interrogation desk. The narrator leads. You answer with actions, not with cross-examination.
Guess the Word is a different game loop entirely - twenty questions energy, lemmas, yes/no pressure. Dark Tales is story and choice under dread, not word hunting.

How do I open Dark Tales?
From Home: Play → How do you play? → Single player → Game mode → Dark Tales.
On Game mode, pick Dark Tales. A list of tales opens - tap one, and the narrator takes over.
If you went down a party path, you will not find Dark Tales there. Back out to How do you play? and take Single player.
The catalog can change when new tales are released. Check the list in-app.
